Momentum Group seeks out new learning in Thrive Content, overhauling their strategy to build a library that their people actively want to access.

Learning beyond compliance
As a brand driven by the desire to make things better for people, Momentum Group knew that their learning content needed an overhaul. Suné Vosloo (Digital Learning Manager) and Kira Koopman (Head of L&D Strategy and Digital Learning) started the process of seeking out a new learning content provider to underpin the company’s values, and change the perception of learning amongst their employees.
In Suné’s words: “If we want our new [learning] to really land in the business and to see a high level of adoption and engagement, we need to entice people there with something other than governance and regulatory training.”

Bite-sized modules, massive results
Their search led them to Thrive Content: The off-the-shelf elearning content provider with thousands of sector-specific resources. They were initially drawn to Thrive thanks to its engaging, bite-sized modules that could be completed quickly between other tasks. More importantly, they needed something that their people would actually want to use, covering interesting, unique and compelling topics.
The practical microlearning modules were Momentum Group’s key to an accessible strategy. Suitable for a wide range of needs and abilities, Thrive Content ensured that absolutely everyone in the group could enjoy learning – no matter their requirements. What’s more, the quality, branding and values aligned with those of the Group to make the transition seamless.

A new lease on learning
The L&D team at Momentum Group is thrilled to see how well their new content library has been received. Since launching the relevant, engaging learning content, there’s been a big increase in managers being proactive about their team’s learning, reaching out to Suné and Kira to ask about personal development topics and how Thrive Content could be curated for their business.
The feedback on these resources has been excellent. Employees love Thrive Content’s straightforward, clear and concise style, the convenience of downloads and templates, and the fact that the topics can be clearly applied to their every day roles.
