More learning completions in first 2 weeks of Thrive, compared to 1 year of using previous platform
Education for everyone
Leigh Academies Trust comprises 31 schools with 20,000 students. It was essential that their learning platform supported staff development at the same level of quality as student education. Employee training needed to be engaging, accessible and connected to real skills development rather than just compliance tick-boxes.

A successful launch
The launch went off without a hitch, allowing the Leigh Academies Trust team to breathe a sigh of relief. With students to teach, lessons to plan and a never-ending stream of homework to mark, teachers are incredibly busy people, and there was some trepidation that the learning platform would become just another item on their ever-growing to-do list. Those concerns were put at ease upon launch, as staff immediately engaged with the preloaded Thrive Content modules.
Structured pathways gave every staff member a clear development journey, while campaigns kept the trust-wide community informed and motivated throughout the year, freeing teachers to focus on their own learning so they could focus on that of their students.

Results that can't be ignored
Engagement was at the top of the list when it came to success metrics, a factor that had been sorely lacking with previous platforms. In reviewing the analytics two weeks post-launch, it transpired that in just those two short weeks, Leigh Academies Trust had gained more learning completions than in an entire year using their previous platform.
For an organisation whose staff are spread out across multiple academies and counties, it was imperative that the platform help bring them together in a safe online space. Analytics dashboards gave leadership clear visibility of completion and skills development progress across every school, and Thrive encouraged the social engagement and knowledge sharing that the trust knew was essential to their learning strategy.

"Having worked in other organisations in the past with various different Learning Management Systems or Learning Experience Platforms, without a doubt Thrive is the most user-friendly, modern and intuitive platform that I’ve experienced. The team that sits behind it is really one of the biggest sellers; the support that you get is on a different level."
